Shabana advises on all areas of family law, with a particular emphasis on protection of family wealth, financial claims that arise on divorce and private children proceedings. She previously worked in financial services and can advise on wealth protection in respect of nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements and financial claims on separation.
She has experience of mediation and arbitration of family disputes. She has a particular expertise in Islamic and Middle East law, assisting in complex cases concerning religious marriage ceremonies, family wealth, children matters and international child contact arrangements with an international element, as well as domestic cases.
